About Yarramalong Equestrian

We provide private, shared and group lessons and cater to all levels of riders. Students can ride one of our safe, educated school ponies or bring their own.

Our focus is on ensuring a safe and supportive environment and introducing students to a kind yet assertive approach to riding and horse care.

We offer a wide range of services including pony re-training, parent education, competition preparation and programs to equip our students with the knowledge to prepare them for horse-ownership.

Horse Riding Lessons - Juniors

Juniors

These lessons are suitable for our young riders from 4 years. Fun-based activities initially on lead to learn the basics of controlling the horse and handling.

Horse Riding Lessons - Children

Children and Adults

Suitable for riders of any ability, ages 6 and up. Private and group lessons available.

Horse Riding Lessons - Teens and Adults

Retraining Programs

We offer full care, in-house re-training for ponies and horses.

Highly recommend Gillian and Sophie as instructors. Both ladies are incredible genuine and nurturing towards not only their students but 'anxious' parents. It was important to me that my daughter not only learnt how to ride but all other aspects of equine care, so she could understand that owning a horse isn't just about riding but so much more. I've loved watching my now 7 y.o progress from Bertie (Shetland) to Spinny and Coby. The highlight of her week is her lesson at Yarramalong.

My 4 year old has been having lessons with Gillian as part of her physio for tight calves and hamstrings. Gillian is an excellent instructor who Alice was extremely comfortable with since the day they met. Bertie is a wonderful gentle horse who has taken excellent care of Alice every week. Yarramalong is highly recommended. Thank you Gillian.
