Spectators

We understand that the majority of parents love to watch their children ride and enjoy time with the ponies here. Throughout last term we found ourselves unable to invite spectators, this restriction had some interesting outcomes. We found that children progressed in a way we hadn’t seen previously, as they were completely focused on riding with no distractions. This term we have decided to try to strike a balance between two.

For private lessons parents are invited to watch last lessons of term. We are hoping that you too will see the immense improvements that we saw last term.

For all other lessons, there is now a large picnic table near the carpark, from this you can still view the arena. This is also ideal if you have younger siblings who find it hard to stay still throughout the lessons.

Many lessons this term will be out on the new cross-country course which will also be visible from the picnic area.

Parents are also invited for a child’s initial assessment lesson.

Riding Club and Squad classes will still remain drop off and pick up only. We understand that sometimes grandparents etc wish to see riders in these classes and we are happy to accomodate special requests with some notice.
